1967
Lowe Alpine founded, introducing the world’s first internal-framed pack.
1981
Rab founded in his attic.
1982
Rab launches down sleeping bags.
1983
Lowe Alpine launches the Cerro Torre.
1990
Rab launches the original Downpour shell jacket and iconic Kinder Smock.
1993
Matt Gowar sets up Equip Outdoor Technologies, and launches Outdoor Designs gloves range.
2003
Rab Carrington retires and hands ownership of Rab to Equip.
2007
Canadian office opens.
2008
Rab launches the first Microlight Down Jacket.

Matt Gowar sets up USA office.

Equip acquires Integral Designs.
